This site is a static set of pages. It does not use cookies, does not run any analytics or advertising script, and has no sign-up, login, or contact form. Visiting it does not create any record on our side.
Separately from this website, the Trend Intelligence data pipeline reads from a fixed set of official, publicly documented APIs, plus specific public web pages an operator has explicitly approved. The table below lists every source and exactly what it reads.
| Source | What's accessed | Authentication |
|---|---|---|
| Google Trends | Relative search interest, rising queries for a fixed keyword list | None (public data) |
| Public "hot" post listings in a curated set of subreddits | OAuth2, app-only | |
| YouTube | Public trending-video feed (titles, view counts) | API key |
| Google Ads (Keyword Planner) | Search-volume history for a fixed keyword list, on our own Ads account | OAuth2 |
| eBay | Public listing search results for a fixed category list | OAuth2, app-only |
| Etsy | Public listing search results for a fixed category list | API key |
| Public web pages | Specific, operator-approved public pages only | None |
In every case: access is read-only (nothing is ever posted, edited, or sent on any connected platform), and the data collected is public listing, post, or search-volume information — never a private account's content, and never any individual person's personal information.
Where this project uses a Google API (the YouTube Data API and the Google Ads API), Trend Intelligence's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:
Raw responses from each source are used to compute short, derived signal summaries (for example, "search interest for a keyword rose 40% this month") and are not retained indefinitely in their original form. Derived signals are kept to power trend detection; there is currently no process for an individual to request deletion of platform-public data, since none of it identifies a private individual in the first place.
All API access uses HTTPS. Credentials (API keys, OAuth tokens) are stored as environment configuration on infrastructure we control and are never included in source code or exposed publicly.
This site and the pipeline behind it are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data relating to anyone under 13.
Data sources are currently configured for the United States market (for example, YouTube's trending feed and eBay/Etsy searches are region-scoped to the US). This may expand as the product develops.
As Trend Intelligence moves from a pipeline into a real seller-facing product, this policy will be replaced by one that directly covers customer accounts and any data collected from them — not silently expanded to cover that under this version. The "Last updated" date above will change whenever this policy does.
